JK-BMS Detail Log analysis
Upload the Detail Log exported from the JK BMS app. The analysis runs in your browser and shows protection episodes, per-cell trips, charts over time and what to change in your settings.
How it works
- 1
Export the log
In the JK BMS app open the device, go to the log screen and export the Detail Log. The file is named detaillogs-YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.txt.
- 2
Drop it here
The file is parsed on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
- 3
Read the findings
The problems list explains what the BMS was doing and which settings are involved.
- 4
Explore the timeline
Zoom into incidents, follow cell voltages, current, capacity and temperatures, and see when charging or discharging was switched off.
- 5
Cross-check your settings
Attach your .jkcfg file to draw the thresholds on the chart and compare them with what the log shows.
What you get
Questions
Which file is this?
The Detail Log exported from the JK BMS app, a text file named detaillogs-… with a date. The old 50-entry event log and the PC monitor exports are different files.
My log has thousands of rows. Is that normal?
Yes. The BMS writes a row for every protection trip and release, so a charger set too high can create a thousand rows in a day.
Why do I see Time calibration rows?
The BMS logs a clock sync whenever the app connects. They are hidden by default in the event table.
What does Boot with zero voltages mean?
The BMS restarted. The first row after a restart carries no readings yet.
Do I need the .jkcfg file?
No, but attaching it adds the thresholds to the chart and checks the log against your settings.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Parsing and analysis run in your browser.
